Even worse than overly-ambitious person who gets the summer internship in the fall, the senior who gets a full-time position by winter quarter. This person then spends the remaining two quarters grilling each passing senior of their life plans. Instead of asking asking how are classes, the conversation goes something like this, “Hey, ____. What’s up? I haven’t seen you in forever! What are you doing in the fall?” Any follow-up question will perfectly set them up to discuss their outstanding full-time position + salary + health coverage.
